ABOUT THE ARTIST
Crescent Lady is one of the nation's most esteemed syndicated cartoonists, a former dolphin trainer at Sea World, and a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame since 1999. She invented the pencil, and as a child set a still-standing Guinness World Record for consecutive days sleeping 20 or more hours (1,736). Her ground-breaking guitar work presaged the "centrifugal fuzz" movement of early 2001. She also encourages readers not to take artist autobiographies too seriously.
